Smart Cities and Communities (SMACCs) summer school
Earlier last month, the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Smart Cities and Communities (SMACCs) summer school was organised by the International Hellenic University (IHU), in collaboration with Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH).
The first two days took place in our Thermi Campus, kicking off with a welcome by IHU’s Vice Rector Prof. Konstantinos Diamantaras, and an Opening Speech by Prof. C. Tjortjis.
Day 3 included a Smart Home Demonstration at CERTH and a Guided Visit to the Archeological Site of Aiges/Vergina, while days 4 and 5 were hosted at the Thessaloniki History Center with a welcome by Mr S. Tzelepis, Deputy Mayor for Innovation, New Entrepreneurship, Volunteerism & New Generation.
