New programme – Archaeology in Action 2026!

Are you fascinated by the ancient world? Ready to step onto an active excavation and experience archaeology for real? This June, join us in Thessaloniki for Archaeology in Action, a unique programme combining online learning, hands-on fieldwork, and immersive cultural experiences.

What you’ll do:
✓ Participate in the ongoing excavation at the Trapeza of Neo Rysio–Kardia
✓ Train in professional excavation and documentation techniques
✓ Work in the lab to process artefacts, from pottery to ecofacts
✓ Learn from archaeologists and specialists directly on site
✓ Explore major ancient Macedonian sites through optional weekend excursions

ECTS Credits: 5.5
Programme Dates:
• Online courses: May 2026
• Fieldwork & Lab: 2–26 June 2026

Flexible participation: 4-week full-time | 2-week part-time | 1-week part-time

Fees:
• 4 weeks: 2100€ / 2500$
• 2 weeks: 1200€ / 1400$
• 1 week: 600€ / 700$

Early entry discount (until 20 Feb 2026): –10%
50% discount for Greek students & IHU School of Humanities, Social Sciences & Economics graduates (ECTS track)
