Συμμετοχή του Τμήματος Βιβλιοθηκονομίας, Αρχειονομίας και Συστημάτων Πληροφόρησης σε πρόγραμμα μεικτής κινητικότητας Erasmus+ (BIP)

Το Τμήμα Βιβλιοθηκονομίας, Αρχειονομίας και Συστημάτων Πληροφόρησης της Σχολής Κοινωνικών Επιστημών του Διεθνούς Πανεπιστημίου της Ελλάδος συμμετείχε σε πρόγραμμα μεικτής κινητικότητας (Blended Intensive Programme – BIP) στο πλαίσιο του Erasmus+ με τίτλο “Cards and dice in the library: designing games to learn Library and Information Science”, που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο University of Granada, στην Ισπανία, από τις 31 Μαρτίου έως τις 4 Απριλίου 2025.

Στο πρόγραμμα συμμετείχαν συνολικά 18 φοιτητές: 8 από το ΔΙ.ΠΑ.Ε., 8 από το Vilnius University και 2 από το University of Granada. Οι φοιτητές εργάστηκαν σε διαπολιτισμικές ομάδες, σχεδιάζοντας επιτραπέζια παιχνίδια που προωθούν τη μάθηση στη Βιβλιοθηκονομία και την Επιστήμη της Πληροφόρησης.

Το πρόγραμμα προσέφερε έναν συνδυασμό εντατικής εκπαιδευτικής εμπειρίας με πολιτιστικές και κοινωνικές δραστηριότητες, ενισχύοντας την αλληλεπίδραση και τη συνεργασία μεταξύ φοιτητών και εκπαιδευτικών από διαφορετικά ακαδημαϊκά και πολιτισμικά περιβάλλοντα.

Η συμμετοχή του Τμήματος στο BIP συνέβαλε ουσιαστικά στην ανάπτυξη δεξιοτήτων δημιουργικότητας, συνεργασίας και διαπολιτισμικής επικοινωνίας. Παράλληλα, ανέδειξε την ακαδημαϊκή ταυτότητα και το διεθνές αποτύπωμα του Τμήματος, ενισχύοντας τη θέση του ΔΙ.ΠΑ.Ε. σε ευρωπαϊκά δίκτυα και πρωτοβουλίες καινοτόμου εκπαίδευσης. Από το Τμήμα συμμετείχε ο κ. Εμμανουήλ Γαρουφάλλου, Καθηγητής και η κα Μαργαρίτα Χατζηλία, ΕΔΙΠ.

Participation of the Department of Library Science, Archives and Information Studies in the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)

The Department of Library Science, Archives and Information Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, at the International Hellenic University participated in an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) titled “Cards and Dice in the Library: Designing Games to Learn Library and Information Science”, hosted by the University of Granada, Spain, from March 31 to April 4, 2025.

A total of 18 students took part in the programme: 8 from the International Hellenic University, 8 from Vilnius University, and 2 from the University of Granada. Working in intercultural teams, the students designed educational board games aimed at enhancing learning in the field of Library and Information Science.

The programme offered a rich blend of intensive academic engagement alongside cultural and social activities, fostering collaboration and meaningful interaction among students and staff from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds.

The Department’s participation in the BIP made a significant contribution to the development of students’ creativity, teamwork, and intercultural communication skills. At the same time, it showcased the Department’s academic identity and international outlook, strengthening the International Hellenic University’s presence in European networks and innovative educational initiatives.The Department was represented by Professor Emmanouel Garoufallou and Teaching Associate Margarita Chatzilia.
