The International Hellenic University (IHU) Master’s programmes operate on a rolling admissions basis. This means candidates can apply for and be admitted to our programs throughout the year. However, we recommend submitting your online application as early as possible to ensure a swift response and to secure a place availability.

Required Documents for Master’s Programme Application at IHU
Applying online for a master’s programme at the International Hellenic University (IHU), you must provide the following supporting documents:

Applicants who are nationals of countries outside the European Union (EU) and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of €100,00 for their application to be considered by the Admissions Committee.

Specifically, applicants from countries not listed in the table below must remit the amount of €100,00 at the time of submission.

The €100,00 application fee is non-refundable. Should the applicant subsequently enrol in the Master’s Programme, the aforementioned amount shall be deducted from the total tuition fees.

2. Academic Qualifications: All candidates should possess a degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university. To evidence this, please provide the following:

    • For Graduates of Greek Universities: Submit a clearly legible photocopy or scanned copy of your degree certificate and transcripts, detailing the courses studied and grades attained. According to Law 4250/14, certificates and documents from all Greek public entities submitted to other Greek public entities do not need to be originals or certified copies.
    • For Graduates of Non-Greek Institutions: Provide copies of your degree certificate and transcripts, detailing the courses studied and grades attained. Further validation will be required after your acceptance (refer to the “Post-Acceptance (Enrollment)” section).

3. Proof of English language proficiency: For graduates from non-English-speaking universities, a good score in one of the following English proficiency tests is required:

    • IELTS* (academic 6.5 and above)
    • TOEFL* or TOEFL IBT* (95 and above)
    • TOEIC* (745 and abovescores up to 30.06.2024) or TOEIC 4-Skills* (C1-C2 level)
    • Alternatively, a certificate of proficiency in English at C1 level recognized by the Greek State.

4. Curriculum Vitae: A copy of your CV detailing your academic and professional background.
