Student success stories “Machine Learning-based IoT BotNet Attack Detection using Heterogeneous Data”

We are very happy that Mr Aqeel Ahmed, student for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Smart Cities and Communities (SMACCS), and Prof. Christos Tjortjis (Dean School of Science and Technology, International Hellenic University), both members of the Data Mining and Analytics (DaMa) Research group, had their paper titled “Machine Learning-based IoT BotNet Attack Detection using Heterogeneous Data” accepted for oral presentation at the International Conference on Electrical, Computer, and Energy Technologies (ICECET) to be held in July 2022 in Prague, Czech Republic. The conference is technically sponsored by IEEE and indexed by Scopus. The proceedings of the conference will be published in IEEE Xplorer.

The SMACCS consortium will sponsor Aqeel’s participation to the conference.

Congratulations Aqeel, keep up the good work!
