On Wednesday 22 February 2017, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between Thessaloniki Tourism Organisation and the International Hellenic University. The two parties expressed their intention to develop strategies and activities aimed at linking the academic and business communities and facilitate students\u2019 entry to the job market. The Agreement was co-signed by the President of Thessaloniki Tourism Association Mrs Voula Patoulidou and the Vice President of the Governing Board of the International Hellenic University, Emeritus Professor Giorgos Stamou.<\/p>\n

The areas of cooperation of the agreement include joint organization of seminars in the framework of the University\u2019s postgraduate programmes of studies and lifelong learning programmes and lectures by experts in the tourism industry. IHU students will also have the opportunity to work on their Consulting Projects in cooperation with Thessaloniki Tourism Organisation while the Human Resources department of Thessaloniki Tourism Organisation will participate in special career events organized by the Careers Office of the International Hellenic University.<\/p>\n<\/div>
