They will navigate through the different kinds of biotechnology and become aware of related scientific concepts such as Bioeconomy, which is used in international fora. More specifically, different topics will be covered such as (a) Industrial and Agricultural Biotechnology, where the students will become familiar with methodologies already applied in the production of certain biotechnological products as biopolymers, enzymes, bio\/chemicals, food additives as well as vaccines, molecular biomarkers, genetic engineering, GMO\u2019s etc. in agriculture.
