Design thinking generates critical inquiry through design work and is an essential component during the process of designing new products, services, or experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Rather than moving in a linear way from principles to applications, design-thinking is a design-based interdisciplinary process, where principles and applications, theory and practice, occupy the same creative milieu bringing in expressive and systematic tools in the research process.<\/p>\n<p>Through research-by-design and complementary presentations and discussions, this course, aims at providing the necessary method of introducing design-thinking as an intrinsic part of the creative process.<\/p>\n<p>The students are asked to work alone and in groups at different stages of the course.
