Contemporary product design shows a shift of paradigm from technology-driven invention to user-centred innovation. Consumers globally seek for differentiated products while rapid-prototyping technology creates new frontiers in product personalization, allowing original ideas which trigger the evolution of contemporary product design.<\/p>\n<p>In the framework of the module, key milestones for the evolution of contemporary product design will be considered.
