Achilleas Kontogeorgos <\/strong>is an Associate Professor of Quality Assurance in Agricultural at the International Hellenic University in Thessaloniki. He has over 10 years of professional experience in agricultural economics and policy as he has served for 4 years \u00a0as the director of the agricultural economics and policy lab in the department of food business administration at the university of Patras.<\/p>\n

His scientific interests include agricultural economics and the management of agricultural enterprises focused on agricultural cooperatives and quality assurance. He has published more than 30 research papers research papers in international scientific journals and scientific conferences on the management of rural industries and especially about food industry and quality assurance subjects. He has participated in almost 10 national and European research projects. Currently, is the scientific responsible for the TrustTrace <\/em>research project funded by the Greek General Secretariat for Research and Technology.<\/p>\n
