He is an academic scholar at the Department of Accounting and Finance at the University of Macedonia as well as a visiting assistant professor at the University of Amsterdam. He has also taught as collaborating academic staff at Hellenic Open University and Open University of Cyprus. He holds an MRes in Accounting and Financial Management from Lancaster University, UK, and a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the same university. Dr. Sikalidis has taught several courses in Accounting and Finance and has participated in various international conferences in the field of Accounting and Finance while his research has been published in prestigious academic journals.
