Aims

The purpose of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the ethical standards for accountants and auditors at all grades. This module particularly emphasizes on the essence and the different dimensions of ethics standards and their importance for society and economy alike. Professional codes are going to be critically evaluated for main bodies, while the adoption and use of those is going to be assessed through real-life practical examples. Case studies will also be used to enable students to understand even further current ethical issues concerning the accounting profession.
