Aims

The aim of this course is to provide students with an understanding of the financial concepts applied to M&A and a full recognition of the impact of corporate restructurings on organisations and people.

The course will make it possible for participants to:

• Appreciate the corporate motives for M&As and the strategic rationales behind a merger or acquisition
• Appreciate the M&A activity in the context and state of the global economy
• Evaluate the potential benefits of M&A and takeover transactions.
