SUMMARY:Training School and Research Colloquium on Next Generation Communications (NextGCom 2024)
DESCRIPTION:The 1st Training School and Research Colloquium on Next Generation Communications (NextGCom) will take place during August 28-30 in Litochoro under the famous Mountain Olympus \, the home of the twelve Olympian Gods from Greek mythology. \n \nThe NextGCom 2024 event is co-organized by the one6G Association\, the IEEE Communication Greece Chapter\, the Department of Information and Electronic Engineering of the International Hellenic University (Greece) and Z-RED L.P. Huawei is the Diamond Patron of the event that is endorshed and supported by the IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) Young Professionals\, IEEE Future Networks Initiative\, IEEE ComSoc Technical Committee in Information Infrastructure & Networking (TCIIN) and IEEE Student Branch @IHU in Thessaloniki. The event is supported and hosted by the Municipality of Dion-Olympus (@Litochoro City Hall). \nHighlights include:\n– Attend a program of Lectures by 12 leading world experts on Next Generation Communications.\n– Stimulate interaction between lecturers and participants.\n– Authors of selected presented Research Posters will be invited to submit an article to Special Issue of IEEE Future Networks Tech Focus.\n– IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) Young Professionals and the IEEE Communication Greece Chapter provided 9 grants to support and encourage the participation of PhD and Early-Stage Researchers (THANK YOU) \nMore information and the agenda of the event can be found in https://nextgcom.iee.ihu.gr/
